Read and be brave!

Grace Under Fire

Please know that the following is nothing more than an account of those recent events which led me to conclude that this particular post might, in a very small way, help set a precedent for openness about mental illnessor just bummed-outness—and of support for those who suffer from it. I humbly request that you do nothing more than read on and go about your day, letting whatever sticks stick, and knowing that talking and listening and being vulnerable are only a matter of being brave. Read and be brave.

Managing Time To Reduce Job Stress

Make a balanced schedule.
-All work and no play is a recipe for excessive job stress. Constantly find ways to balance business and pleasure.

Stop over-committing.
-Don’t get into that lifestyle where your days are always jam-packed. Always find a way to know which one is a “should” and which one is a “must”. Drop tasks that aren’t truly necessary to the bottom of the list or eliminate them entirely.

Try to leave earlier in the morning.
-Stop the morning rush. You can do so by leaving home at least 10 minutes earlier. Don’t add to your stress levels by running late.

Regular breaks will help.
-Short breaks throughout the day will massively help with your stress at work. You can do this by sitting back and clearing up your mind. At lunch, stay away from your desk. Briefly relax, recharge, and reinvigorate.

What Is An Extrovert?

,

For the most part, when you hear that a person is an extrovert, you will automatically assume he or she is friendly and outgoing. That can be true in some cases, but it’s not what being an extrovert is all about. Basically, extroversion is being energized when you’re around people. In contrast to an introvert who is energized when he or she is alone.

Extroverts easily get bored when not around people. An extrovert always chooses to talk with someone over sitting alone and thinking. As a matter of fact, extroverts usually think as they speak. Extroverts are at their best when they are talking. Reflecting on concepts is not enough for them, they have to talk about them.
